Hm, I see what ya mean about the textures. I suppose that's one handmade texture
that won't be used again. At the time I finished, it looked good (which was
around 3 a.m.). In a way, I guess it has its own uniqueness, but I can see how
it could get mistaken for being low quality. Still, I'm glad you find the
elements interesting. =B

Definitely doesn't sound like any manga that I usually/currently
read.
It was one of the first manga that I got into. I was
into a strange combination of titles, from the romantic & girlie Oh My
Goddess, to the well-written yet violent Blade of the Immortal. I think it's
finished now... Dark Horse are crap with how they treat their manga! And
apparently they're exciting about having the rights to a CLAMP title I'm
not looking forward to that...

his wife's head, had it stufed & mounted on his shoulder. Nice!

shoulder. Classy.
When he finally met Rin two years later he proposed to remove his wife's head
& replace it with her own.
Who could say no to a man like that?
It's a strange series. Blade of the Immortal is violent & harrowing from the
get go, but because of the strength of the characterisations and the beauty of
the art you just can't get enough.
